Holy Crap! An Update!

Right, right...I know...It's been too long since I've written anything in here.  It's been a wild summer.  Let's just leave it at that.  In the meantime, here's a taste of what my summer job was like.

A bit of backstory...I was helping to set up a wireless network at the Pine Mountain Wild Animal Park, and part of that job was to go aroudn and place signal boosters at certain points in the park. One of them had to be placed above the pig pen (I don't know why. I was just told to do it). Since I'm the smallest and lightest of the employees at my store, guess who got nominated to be suspended from a rope over the pen and place the booster?

Seems somewhat ironic that I'm posting this on the last day of work.  Man...I loved that job.  I'm going to miss it.

Right...So that's basically been the last two weeks of my life.

Aside from that, I'm home now and my allergies are killing me.
Blue wizard needs medication badly!  Blue wizard is about to die!

Oh yeah, and the blood spray in the comic is actually not exaggerated.  I was actually cleaning blood off the wall after I did that.  It was messy.

Been a while...

*dusts off the blog*

Uh...Wow...It's been a really long time since I updated this thing.

Suffice to say, the semester's been really, really, busy.  It's been a good one, just busy.
Finals are this week though, so I'll finally be out for summer vacation.  That'll be nice.

Anyway, I'm going back to work in the Art Building.  I've still got a lot of work to do on my final sculpture.

By the way, this is the greatest music video ever...And it was directed by Jhonen Vasquez (Invader Zim), which makes it even better.

You know what's cool?  My room is the first and only one on the campus to have a Xbox 360 hooked up to the school's LAN.

Call of Duty on Xbox Live is freakin' awsome.

Heh...I figured it's time for me to update this thing again since it's been so long.

December was fun.  It was nice getting a break from school after the madness that was finals.  Actually, I take that back.  It wasn't the finals that were so bad as much as it was all of the crap leading up to them.

You may have heard about the comic book I was writing for my Drawing II final.  That's what, I claim, stole my sanity during that time.  It probably wouldn't have been so bad, had I not had such an early deadline for it and so little time to actually work on it.  All things considered though, it came out pretty good, though the ending felt like a bit of a cop out.  But hey, like I said, I was under a very tight deadline, so I had to drop a lot of the ideas that I had originally planned to have in the comic.

Oh yeah, for those of you who haven't seen it yet...Here...Also, I'm not insane, I promise.

So anyway, that's the comic that made my life a nightmare for a week or so.

Aside from that, December was a good month for me.  I got to hang out with friends again, some of whom I hadn't seen since highschool.

Christmas was alright.  I finally got a mp3 player, which was much awsomeness.

New years was equally fun.  It's comforting to know that videogames, anime, and fireworks are quickly becoming a New Years tradition for me.

I also got to go bowling, which was probably the greatest part of the break because I got to hang out with my old friends that I hardly ever get to see anymore.

Playing hacky sack in a Theater after it's already closed was one of the more random things I've done over the break, but also one of the more amusing things.

I'm back in the dorm now.  Home was fun, but it is nice to be back here again.  We've almost got the room set up the way we want it again.
